Northern Quest Resort & Casino

Vegas. Glitz and glamour. Carefree indulgence. Bold fun. It's a destination often imitated, but rarely replicated. But some get it right - the atmosphere, the food, the rooms, even the action. Spokane's Northern Quest Resort & Casino is one of the few. Think Vegas with pine trees. And no heat stroke.

The resort hotel won the coveted AAA Four Diamond rating just months after opening and still holds that honor. There's no mystery why. A modern lobby, swanky hotel bar and floating fireplace reveal the hotel's unique character the second you step through the revolving glass door. A hand-blown glass chandelier graces the sweeping staircase connecting the lobby to a luxury spa adjacent to the pool. All of the 250 oversized rooms and suites feature custom-made beds, quality linens, the latest electronics and spa-inspired bathrooms. Still, the unexpected highlight of your stay may be the open glass shower with four adjustable-spray body jets and custom products. Warning: this could easily incite a home bathroom remodel or, at the least, very prune-y skin.

As posh as the rooms may be, there are plenty of tempting reasons to step out - fourteen of them if you love an excellent meal and a great drink. At the top of the list is Masselow's, Spokane's only AAA Four Diamond restaurant. The fare is elegant Northwest cuisine inspired by the culture of the Kalispel Tribe. For casual food done right, there are traditional eateries as well as some ethnic ones. A sports bar with a 30'x10' HDTV, the area's only premier cigar lounge and a trendy nightclub also score high marks for entertainment outside of gaming.

Northern Quest also attracts some of the biggest entertainment acts year round - their Outdoor Summer Concerts is a definite don't miss.  Past performers include Toby Keith, Santana, Reba McEntire, The Judds and many more.

La Rive Spa at Northern Quest is a destination in itself.  With over 14,000 square feet, eight treatment rooms, a full salon and indoor pool, this luxury experience promises to rejuvenate one and all.

The heart of the action is the 46,000 sq. ft., 24/7 casino floor. There's even an isolated non-smoking game floor and an upscale lounge right in the middle of the action. If all this sounds strangely familiar, it's no accident. Ask any local: if it happens in Vegas, it happens in Spokane.
